I received the Guardian's Scott Trust Bursary in 2017.
I have led workshops, appeared on panels and spoken at events including the Today in Focus podcast, radio shows on Worldwide FM, Supreme Standards, Jazzkaar Festival, Institute of Ideas and EFG London Jazz Festival.
I have also freelanced as a documentary researcher and worked on a number of projects for broadcasters including ITN, BBC and Al Jazeera.
